We are so pleased to welcome eager volunteers to Spring into Action! Our annual volunteer day has been on hiatus since 2020–but now it’s back, on Saturday, April 22. We hope you can join us!
Making a difference in the greater Camden community is a whole lot of fun! Children are welcome.
There are lots of different kinds of jobs at many different community partners. April 22 is Earth Day, so some of the projects involve planting and gardening, weather permitting.
Please sign up for the partner site you’re interested in. Each partner has a limited number of volunteer slots available.
Here’s how the day goes:
8 am: Welcome breakfast at Cathedral Kitchen. Enjoy a hot breakfast, mingle with other volunteers, get your Spring into Action T-shirt.
9 am to 12 noon: Service projects
- Travel to your partner site. We’ll help you hook up with a ride from Cathedral Kitchen if you need one.
- Tour the partner site and learn about its work.
- Dig into your chosen project! See the project descriptions on our Spring Into Action page. There’s something for everyone!
