The Domenica Foundation launched a new 2-minute video to describe our mission, our history, and our partnerships with outstanding nonprofit organizations in Camden and throughout South Jersey.
The short video features children in Domenica-sponsored education programs, including Domenica Scholars. Pepe Piperno, the foundation’s founder, starts the video by saying “Camden is in my DNA.” He talks about his mother, Domenica, for whom he named the foundation.
My mother was the most selfless person I’ve ever known. She always said, “If it makes sense, it’s right.” To me, poverty and lack of opportunity have never made sense. I want all children to have the same opportunities my kids had.
